The book written by Georgia Papazisis “Why not me?” is published by Sirtari Publications. A book that can be read in one breath. Reaching the last page, the reader feels immense admiration for the author’s strength of soul, and has certainly revised his view of life.
Personal opinion: Angelina Papathanasiou
For Georgia Papazisis, 2007 was a life-changing year for her, as a rare disease made its appearance, offering her terrible trials.
How, how I didn’t love me! How much I would tell myself now if I could. No, “self-love” is not selfishness, Joe! Self-love is the oxygen and it diffuses to those around us. Without love nothing can happen. Or rather it is: Sickness.
The author describes her struggle with her illness, her travels abroad to find a cure, the enormous changes that occurred in her life.
Many of you may think that the book will affect you psychologically. Frankly, it is a text that offers only positive influence to readers. The author does not seek pity. Instead, she wants to share with her readers all the experiences that her illness has generously offered her, in the hope of leading them to light, to self-knowledge, to the best version of themselves.
I also know that the power that we all have within us is enormous. Non-negotiable. 100% sure. Neither age, nor gender, nor colour, nor religion, nor illness, nor anything, absolutely nothing, changes this inner strength. As long as we believe it. I finally believe it! Why not you?
While reading the book, I found myself jotting down phrases from the author that spoke to me, I admired her strength, courage and optimism.
In life, nothing is given. From one moment to the next, everything can change. But what matters is the way we see life, and Georgia Papazisis through her book offers us all a great lesson.
My job is to feel good, to keep the vibration, the energy up. That is to observe my thoughts and feelings constantly. With discipline. Without criticism. And if they’re positive, I keep them. If they are negative, that’s fine, I don’t resist. I welcome any emotion with open arms and let it dissolve on its own and go.
Summary: Georgia Papazisis wrote a whole book… with her eyes! You want to know why, You can bear whatever the answer is, She already knows it and has recorded it in the pages of this shocking description, in the pages of the autobiographical confession of a woman who has been tried and is still being tried, but who never stops hoping for a moment. “Why Not Me” is a true story of courage, a testimony of the soul!
